FYI We both use Chrome, not Chromium. I wrongly typed Chromium earlier.

> We both use Chrome. She says her wireless seems to be connecting fine, but the internet does not work. She cannot get e-mail or get the web browser to pull up web pages. I would not be surprised if she is seeing the same HTTP 404 error message. Without the machine in my hands, it is hard to evaluate the problem.
> I know that she often uses the power button to kill the machine and reboot when it wakes up with a blank screen. I often see a blank screen during wake up too and am now checking to see if using Alt+cursor LEFT or Alt+cursor RIGHT gets me to the login screen. Perhaps the frequent hard reboots has created a problem with the network connection.
> Assuming the wireless connection is fine, how would you fix a machine that has been forced to shut down and now has a corrupt file that keeps it from accessing the internet? Would you reinstall something? And without the internet connection, is it possible to reinstall from the original bootable flash disk without wiping the whole MeeGo OS and starting over?
