This seems reasonable.

Therefore, I'd like to propose deploying the following services with Midgard:

* Social News & Planet - the modules used on maemo.org should work for
meego.com as-is

* Package management, QA, Downloads & App Karma - these will require
quite some backend changes to work with OBS and RPM instead of
autobuilder and debs, but the logic of the web UIs should be pretty
much the same

Additionally if needed we can deploy other Midgard services that
maemo.org uses, including:
* Brainstorm (if we want to use that instead of IdeaTorrent)
* Karma calculations (with plugins counting contributions from other
parts of meego.com)

For these we will need to install Midgard to the meego.com
infrastructure (it can run side-by-side with Drupal if needed), make a
Midgardized MeeGo template and implement whatever SSO solution is
decided for meego.com (as a starting point we could use Drupal auth
just like MediaWiki and vBulletin).

As far as resourcing is concerned, we have the Midgard
admin/development team from maemo.org that can do this job:

* Niels Breet/X-Fade - maemo.org webmaster
* Alexey Zakhlestin/JimiDini - maemo.org web/Midgard developer
