Agreed on both points. Rather than one common template though, why
not, say, a thread in the forum for discussion and posting of MeeGo
presentation templates by all those who are interested? Finished
templates could then be moved from there to an organized, thumbnailed
list in the wiki.

The MeeGon thread in the forum is bringing forward a growing number of
community members with design skills, and this would be another
opportunity for their involvement. A collection of presentation
templates in the wiki would be beneficial beyond just the upcoming
conference also.
