I can understand it.... but I think they should have some kind of presence here.
I have a slight concern that if they can't find a way to talk to the community 
they'll be doing the work for then maybe they're not the right people?

Nothing is forcing them to read every thread - but an announcment about who they 
are and a mechanism for some kind of interaction - maybe a community member can 
volunteer to be a proxy/moderator for them?

Just trying to offer suggestions to help us feel confident that we'll have a 
great conference... and some great video etc afterwards.
