Well, Android is the reference for "open mobile platform" today, and I'd
love to see MeeGo start to get that kind of traction as more open & more
free than Android. "Strongest OS candidate..." sounds to me like a
deliberate attempt not to mention any competitors - and a comparison
with iOS and Android is of course useful when looking at strengths &
weaknesses of our platform.
As you say (and as I noted in the wiki) this goal could replace at least
2 of your proposed goals - and consolidation is good for a mission
statement :)
