[MeeGo-community] Local Network mailing lists

Hi all,
       One issue that came up last night at the Helsinki MeeGo Network meeting was the infrastructure needed to organize the meetings.  The two things that were considered essential were:

* A calendar for announcements, etc.
* A mailing list for organization, etc.

The calendar issue can (for now at least) be solved using the MeeGo Events calendar, but the mailing list issue needs a solution.

We could use a standard mailing list naming convention, which would also drive a standard group naming convention.  For the local mailing list it could be like: helsinki-meego-network at meego.com, for countries it could be fi-meego-network at meego.com.

Can the meego.com infrastructure support the local network mailing lists?  If not, could it support national mailing lists? (or even better both?)  
If it can, what is the process for creating these mailing lists? and can the helsinki-meego-network at meego.com be created?
