[MeeGo-community] Sponsoring MeeGo Conference participants

I just got a "MeeGo Conference 2010 Status Update" basically informing
me to arrange my hotel reservation. I'm sure that I'm in the same boat
as a lot of folks who are waiting for the sponsorship results before
even thinking about travel and hotel arrangements.

So my question is, should everyone reserve a room already regardless
if they will be sponsored or not and just cancel the registration if
they are not sponsored?

Also, what's the rule on sponsored participants who will be travelling
with their spouse?
