I'm not sure about the time, but I do have the energy right now, so I'll bite :)

My plan is to use the old maemo.org 2010 proposal to kickstart our
current one, as there's little time available. For the time being I've
created the http://wiki.meego.com/GSoC_2011/Proposal and
http://wiki.meego.com/GSoC_2011/Ideas wiki pages.

Let's try and have some nice ideas page by the time Google gets to
visit it! (which should hopefully be after the 11th deadline ;) ).

However, there's an important problem: I need to select a backup
administrator (in case I get hit by a bus, etc.). Google requires it,
so there is no chance to be approved without one. Whoever volunteers
needs to have a Google Account -- get one at
http://www.google-melange.com/ . Please do!
