[MeeGo-dev] RPM vs. DEB Packaging and Distribution

With Maemo, we knew that Nokia would never hide core components of the
system,
but what will happen with MeeGo, will it still be possible to use it like
any other linux
system, to look at it's internals, to gain root access, or for that matter
use terminal at all?
I personally prefer deb packages to rpm, but that is a minor issue. If that
is the only
change they intend to introduce, that's fine with me. I just hope they don't
take the
Android path...
