[MeeGo-dev] Problem in flashing meego kernel image to n900 device

you did the following?

added the following to rc.local in mmc card before the flash:
echo 255 > /sys/class/backlight/acx565akm/brightness

to put this in after the image is written to the mmc, connect the N900
as storage device and exit it or you can mount it within the N900 to
edit it.
