There are free plugins to fix outlook to work properly for this. You
might want to look into that...

Again, are you sure you got the kernel config correct? Compare it to
the old one and see if you really are even building the ata drivers.

If this is the first time you are trying something like this, I would
recommend the kernelnewbies site and mailing list for questions. The
people there should be able to help you out much better.
