Yes. it somewhat works. You just need to install the
meegotouch-inputmethodbridges package from haandset repository along
the meegotouch input method packages from core repository.

Then you need to adjust the screen resolution in
/etc/meegotouch/devices.conf and change the default values to your
netbook resolution. Then run meego-im-uiserver from console  with
-bypass-wm-hint argument. Then you have it!

As a proof, this mail is written with meego virtual keyboard in Chrome
browser. MeeGo conference participants can immediately try this in
their new shiny Lenovo tablet.
I can help you setting it up if you're around at the conference. You
can also talk with Linpus guys which I believe have the solution
nicely running upstairs.
