Hi.

I'm not too familiar with the player application itself, but at least Meego video
player uses QMediaPlayer (http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.0-tp/qmediaplayer.html)
and GStreamer is on the lower level, so streaming capabilities are present.
