It depends on what you want from your application. If you use 
only MeeGo API in your application, better compliancy promise is
given.

In the current DRAFT of meego compliancy 1.1 spec., Platform API is
only given compatibility promise for the same minor release. And this
might still change before we reach an approved version of the spec.
