True.
I believe IEMGD will be releasing a MeeGo 1.1 version in the next couple of weeks.
I hope we will start seeing MeeGo 1.2 (1.1.90.xxx) builds with EMGD and Xilinx drivers by early Feb.
If you are using kernel 2.6.33. you might want to look at the updated 1.0.1 releases at http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases/1.0.1/
I'm sorry I don't know what versions of kernel etc you have mashed together.
The next best alternative might be to back port the "Timberdale" (Russellville Xilinx part code name) from kernel.org, but since you are working with an old kernel it may be hard to reconstruct a good patchset.
The driver patches came from a company named Mocean (recently renamed to Pelagicore). The last full patchset I found in my archives for 2.6.33 is dated Feb 1, 2010 for kernel 2.6.33-rc6, so I won 't make any assertions about whether you can use it, but I will send it to you directly (rather than posting to the mail list).

Joel

Thats all great
But there is a problem, IEMGD does not support the new kernel
For me to use IEMGD on the 1.1 version i had to downgrade the kernel and xorg to 1.8 version
Unfortunattly thats the truth, but the actual kernel i'm using (ported from 1.0) has some missing drivers, and does not support hyperthreading, so my ivi only uses the simple system

The Xilinx drivers were not accepted in the Linux kernel at the time of the Linux kernel version release that we use in MeeGo 1.1 IVI (2.6.35), so we had to backport them from later Linux kernel releases and update the MeeGo 1.1 IVI kernel. MeeGo IVI includes automated and manual software updates as described in: http://wiki.meego.com/MeeGo_Software_Updates. This allows you to install the updated binaries on your running MeeGo IVI system. The updated kernel with Xilinx drivers is included in the MeeGo 1.1.1 IVI update. You can directly access the RPMs at: http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/updates/1.1/. Specifically the IVI kernel RPM is included in the core repo at http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/updates/1.1/core/repos/source/
