[MeeGo-ivi] Supported Hardware

I don't think any of the MeeGo QA work has been done on Core 2 platforms.
Not sure of the reference to the statement from November, so I can't follow up on its origin.

The release notes for MeeGo 1.0 listed this as supported HW
*Intel Russellville eMenlow systems
*Intel Crown Bay Tunnel Creek systems.

The release notes for MeeGo 1.1 listed this as supported HW
*Intel Russellville eMenlow systems

These are the systems the MeeGo QA targeted for MeeGo IVI validation.

Currently QA is being run on
*Intel Russellville eMenlow systems
*Intel Crown Bay Tunnel Creek systems.
with limited QA being done on Intel Northville-ST systems. And some developer testing is being done on the ARM based Beagleboard.

regards
Joel

Subject: [MeeGo-ivi] Supported Hardware

What up gang?

I wanted to verify something I have been noting...

Back in November (on this very list) supported platforms were stated as:

"We'll need to execute code on hardware to validate that software works.
An Intel hardware platform has already been identified: Intel Atom
or Intel Core 2 CPU with support for SSSE3."

However, looking at most recent efforts it seems that the Core 2 platform
is being somewhat *dropped* (ie: drivers that are integrated are aimed
away from those platforms).

Is the observation correct? If it is, it is probably something to note
somewhere...
