You didn't ask for that here, did you?

Why isn't the driver upstream?  That's where the code needs to go before
it can get into the MeeGo kernel, according to the kernel development
process for MeeGo.  Why would you think you can circumvent that by
throwing random code chunks at a Linux Foundation mailing list?
