[Meego-porting] Meego / xorg-x11-fbdev-sgx on a Beagle XM Rev. B

I am also facing problem to see the GUI on beagle board (DEVkit
8000),TFT LCD display.


* We are trying to boot meego image through SD card on beagle board of
type DevKit8000 based on processor OMAP35x of Texas Instrument
(TI).Display is LCD 4.3".
* Kernel and image are built using the instructions from
http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/Meego_on_Beagleboard_from_scratch

* Written image to SD card and when boot, we get Error "Unsupported
Chip". 

we have replaced only MLO given Devkit CD and able to boot and see the
bootpromt , able to login.

* Kernel log bootargs: console=ttyS2,115200n8 console=tty0
root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootwait ro omapfb.vram=0:2M,1:2M,2:2M
omapfb.mode=lcd:800x480-16 at 60 fixrtc0

As you mentioned in the mail below Meego UI is working on LCD screen.
Please suggest if we have to do some other way to get the Meego UI.

One more doubt is this MLO replacement also could be a reason for UI
problem?

Thanks for the info. Just let me know, if you need someone to run some
tests on the Beagle xM.
