[Meego-qa] VMWare environment for MeeGo automated tests

Hi,

We tested VMWare Open SuSe flavor for TDriver based automated testing work in MeeGo platform. RPM environment works fine for automated tests. Accessing SVN repositories, and test execution over USB connection, etc. are working just fine. These are the steps to automated tests:


1.     Download, and install VM Ware using the Open SuSe ISO image on your Windows laptop.

2.     Install and setup TDriver as per the instructions at http://wiki.meego.com/TDriver on the VMWare host

3.     Enable USB on VMWare, and connect the device. Setup USB IP networking between the device and VMWare host.

4.     Execute automated TDriver tests as usual from a console.
