Was it ever announced to testers that 1.3 reports should go to the
"MeeGo Distribution Packages" product?
If so, where was that email...?

Apart from Luis Araujo's request to become maintainer for six components
I have seen NO PROGRESS AT ALL to identify maintainers:

July 14th:   651 components with default assignee = need-maintainer@
August 26th: 651 components with default assignee = need-maintainer@
Today:       645 components with default assignee = need-maintainer@

To me it's just another example of MeeGo QA introducing yet another
change without any plan how to continue (in this case: actually
*finding* maintainers).
And that does not surprise me.
