[MeeGo-SDK] Qemu image fail to launch at Ubuntu9.10/10.04 and fedora13

Hi Cathy,

Xephyr needs Intel Graphic card to get GL acceleration, so it fails on your Ubuntu 9.10 because it uses the non-Intel card.

For Fedora 13, there are some issues to run Xephyr. There are some email discussions in the meego-dev&meego-sdk mailing list. Please wait for some time and I will get it fixed.

Xephyr has been verified to work on Ubuntu 9.10, Ubuntu 10.04, Fedora 12, OpenSuse 11.2 with Intel Graphic card.

I get better result with a modification in qemugl_cmd.sh file by disabling kvm. But not sure if it's the right way I should do on Ubuntu system.
Ubuntu9.10: Can launch Qemu image but seems the characters inside it are all messed. And the response is very slow.
Xephyr fail to launch image with attached error infor.

Ubuntu10.04: Fail to launch Qemu.

On Fedora13: whatever disable kvm or not, Qemu image works.
But always fail to launch in Xephyr with attached error infor.

Any expertise can give some hints?

Hi all,

I tried to launch Qemu image in Ubuntu 9.10, 10.04 host and Fedora 13, all failed. The same image works on Fedora 12 only.
I've checked with wiki http://wiki.meego.com/MeeGo_SDK_Graphics_Acceleration, VT enabled, kvm module installed, Gfx accel enabled.

The Gfx card in Ubuntu 9.10:
ATI RV710 (Radeon HD 4350)

Ubuntu 10.04:
Intel Corparation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller

Fedora13:
Intel Corparation 82Q963/Q965 Integrated Graphics Controller


Is there anyone successfully run it on these 3 host, is there anything else I missed?
