First check the /boot/config* file if SMACK is enabled in your kernel.
It was not enabled a week ago, I don't know if this has changed (I guess not).
If it is not enabled, you will have to reconfigure and
rebuild your kernel first. Please check the wiki for more information on how to do this.
The smackutils package is available in the mssf security repository. Install it like this:
1. zypper ar http://download.meego.com/live/devel:/security:/mssf/Trunk_standard/ mssf
2. zypper ref
3. zypper in smackutil
There was a bug in the smackload command. Check the archive of this list. It may have been fixed
by now.
