Allright, now I understand.
It was "deprecated" by UI design not by ui framework. Code will stay.

So coming back to original question they answer is: if you can't find suitable layout provided by one of the M*ListITems create your own with MListItem as base class. It should be trivial. Take a look at M*ListItem source code.

You also can extend M*ListItem if you want to tweak something, for instance layout.  Overload

virtual QGraphicsLayout *createLayout();

virtual void clearLayout();

for that.

I didn't deprecate MContentItem, Stanislav didn't deprecate it and we are both working in that area.
So what make you think MContentItem is deprecated? :)

Also please don't mix 2 mailing lists. meego-touch-dev at meego.com<mailto:meego-touch-dev at meego.com> is enough.
