Sandipj,

as reported in the MeeGo Working Group meeting minutes (Meego-tv] MeeGo
Smart TV WG Meeting Minutes for June 21/22, 2011)
we still have some legal issues stopping us to publish a full image for
the CE4100.

The minutes are publised on this mailing list and, for ease, I have
extracted the relevant paragraph from the minutes and copied it bellow :

" Status of 1.2 Release:

A lot of packages on Public OBS but have some legal issues with some of the binary.

We need to work out how we can give companies/people who have NDA's with us to get access to the code. Steve Gorman stated that we are still a couple of weeks away from having a solution. However for anyone having an Intel relationship we would encourage them to contact their Intel field rep. In parallel we need to figure out a solution for the Working Group members so they can start to build for their own hardware (Nokia Siemens, Locatel,.) As long as they have Intel silicon we can get them the board package.

MeeGo TV UX and Core are already there, what's missing is an image that will run on Intel processors. The kernel with driver required to run on Sodaville platform is still not available.
We are talking with platform vendors to see if they will agree to supply to the community.

Bottom line: We still have some issue with some binary drivers which make access to an image working on Sodaville Soc still weeks away, in the mean time for customers with Intel we might be able to find quicker access to the code - Intel will continue to work-out the process..."

In short to build MeeGo TV for the CE4100, you need to take the Meego core from the MeeGo OBS and merge it with the proprietary code provided by your Intel commercial contact.
We are working to improve that situation which is not ideal, but that is the current status.

Open source packages can be found here.

Kernel is 2.6.35 with patches, drivers and utilities which still needs to be obtained from your Intel Commercial contact.
All the rest of MeeGo 1.2 core is from the MeeGo public OBS.
