Cool, so I guess it was better doing that way as a clean implementation from
scratch then to try to add your dbus abstraction layer into libplayer so
that get the best of both worlds with only one library?

In any case, what I personally have always wanting is just to have official
GStreamer support in XBMC as an build option added by the XBMC developers
into their main tree, do you think there is a chance of that happening soon
with any different type of native implementation?

I was actually more thinking about the MeeGo OS port of XBMC, so that you
can build XBMC for MeeGo as a project, again added by the XBMC developers
into their main tree and officially supported by them, any chance of those
patches being accepted and merged?
